Sheet Metal Fabricator
A sheet metal fabricator works primarily in the shop, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components used in construction, HVAC systems, and other applications. Fabricators use advanced machinery such as shears, brakes, and rollers to form materials like steel, aluminum, and copper. If you enjoy precision work and creating detailed parts, this career might be the right fit for you.

HVAC Install/Service
One of the most in-demand sheet metal careers, an HVAC technician installs and repairs heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. A TAB Technician plays a critical role in optimizing HVAC systems by ensuring they operate at peak efficiency and in alignment with design specifications. As a TAB technician, you’ll measure airflow, temperature, and pressure, then adjust and balance these factors to create a comfortable, energy-efficient environment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience with specialized tools and diagnostic equipment. Working in a range of settings—including commercial buildings, hospitals, and industrial facilities—you’ll contribute directly to environmental quality, system performance, and client satisfaction.
